Will the chatbot give mortgage advice?

No. FastBots is an information and enquiry-capture tool — it can't and shouldn't give regulated mortgage advice. You configure it to answer general questions about your process, fees, criteria and documents, and to hand anything that resembles advice over to a qualified advisor. The page should make that boundary clear to the visitor too.

Can it quote rates or maximum borrowing?

We strongly recommend setting it up so it doesn't. Rates and affordability depend on individual circumstances and live lender criteria, so the safest pattern is to explain how the process works in general terms and route the prospect to an advisor for any number.
